Ponder
Are relationships meant to be selfish acts? Because in all reality it is only about what you as an individual wants. If the girl says no I don’t love you at first, you are often expected to ask again a few times in an effort to sway her mind to loving you. That right there is what I think is fucked up, what changed from the first time to that last time? Nothing. It should be a straight no I don’t love you and then that is thtlat. Nothing should be able to change their mind because that is what they want. It shouldn’t feel like they’re settling for second best or anything. (typed on iPod, that’s reason for any typos).
RROD
Well I’ve again experienced the Red Ring of Death on my Xbox 360 except this time it didn’t fix itself. I’ve taken it apart mostly to take a look at it but I’m missing my Torx driver to take it all the way apart. Either way, I’ve order a new one from Amazon that includes Splinter Cell: Conviction and a nice, hefty 250 GB HDD. Looking forward to that in about a week from now. Back to Physics studying though.
Anonymity
This sort of post falls under the category of “Topics Currently On My Mind.” So if it has an odd twist that’s why, but I’ll try to make it short and sweet. I’ve always known that there is some sort of humbleness/security that one feels while anonymous, but I didn’t think so far that this feeling of anonymity would extend to having a person feel more open around strangers while being anonymous than they would normally feel around friends. Case and point is Chat Roulette. Granted some people on their are just weird and nasty on their own accord, anonymous or publicly known. There is just something about that feeling of other people not knowing you or anything about you that makes people that are otherwise “normal” do things they normally wouldn’t. I believe this phenomena is also the cause for the vast majority of YouTube comments that are utterly stupid and brain melting. People find that they can curse up a storm or throw out completely inappropriate themes just because the people on the other end of the internet can’t find them, which is in most cases not true but that’s besides the point. At any rate, it just hit me how being anonymous can truly effect the actions of people for better or for worse, for benefit or for shear annoyance, etc.
Currently reading Outliers, it seems like it should be a good book. I mean, who doesn’t want to learn how Asians are good at math??
Bob That Head
For whatever reason, I designate today as a country music listening day. It just seems right for some reason and there are some pretty good songs I haven’t listened to in awhile.
A very short guitar part that doesn’t fit into the song that I’ve been working on.
Keepin Busy
Yah buddy, I love being busy, and that’s not sarcasm. Though I have no planner to show, this week is actually keeping me pretty busy. Sure as hell beats sitting in the room thinking about pointless things and just messing around.
I hope your indecision keeps you warm at night and tells you its alright when you sleep alone tonight.
